After URKO almost defeated Y2J in a classic bout on GCW, PD ruined it by attacking Y2J and URKO in the process. Thus this match was made to settle the conflict between the 2. The bell rang and the 2 locked up. PD managed to back URKO up into the corner, and then kneed him in the gut to keep him still. After the knee he hit a few knife edge chops in the corner. But after going for the 5th chop, URKO dodged it and put PD in the corner. URKO then connected with 3 chops before taking PD down with a monkey flip. PD rushed right up and URKO ran for him. PD ducked and URKO leap frogged over him and ran across the other set of ropes. PD then began running to URKO as he ran as well, and he took URKO down with a shoulder block. PD ran across the ropes right after and hopped over URKO’s body. URKO then rushed up and bent over to hit a back body drop, but instead PD kicked URKO right across the face. Fans gasped at the loud echoing kick and PD then hit a DDT to ground URKO. He went for a pin right after. 1, 2, and a kick out. After the kick out PD tried something he wasn’t used to, high risk. As URKO was hunched over nearly to his feet, PD dove off the top rope and connected with a double axe-handle. The move sent URKO back down and rolling out of the ring. PD took a short breather before going on the outside as well. URKO was using the barricade to pull himself up, but PD made different use of the barricade. He began pushing URKO’s throat down upon it, choking him in the process. After several seconds of a vicious choke, PD threw URKO hard into the steel steps. Fans continued to boo PD and cheer on URKO as PD picked URKO up off the floor and threw him back into the ring for the pin. 1, 2, and another kick out. PD then backed up and prepared to end the match with a Thunder From Down Under. PD took off running but URKO dodged it and knocked PD down with a dropkick instead. PD rushed up and URKO connected with another 1. PD got up again, and this time URKO hit a snap suplex. Momentum was building up for him as he climbed the top rope awaiting PD to get up. When he did URKO dove off and connected with a crossbody. URKO was on a roll now and prepared to end the match in a small upset with a defeat over the world champion by getting ready to hit an RKO. PD slowly got up and when he did URKO hit his RKO dead on! Fans cheered and reached their feet as URKO got the pin and hooked the leg. 1, 2, and a shoulder up at the last possible second. URKO was in disbelief. He got up after the kick out and all of a sudden PD’s follower King Cliff came rushing out. He stood on the ring apron and tried to distract URKO. An attempt that worked. But it didn’t pay off for Cliff because URKO just hit him with an RKO sending Cliff throat 1st onto the top rope and falling back to the floor. But with URKO’s back turned, PD was able to sneak behind him and hit his Thunder From Down Under. PD took a little time before going for the pin. 1, 2, and URKO got a foot on the rope! Fans were shocked and bursted out when URKo got his foot on the rope. PD now was in disbelief. But PD just looked angry and got right up and prepared for a 2nd Thunder From Down Under, this 1 also hitting when URKO got up. PD was about to go for the pin, when all of a sudden he paused and thought for a moment. After thinking for a few seconds, he brought URKO back up and locked him in Y2J’s finisher, The Arm Trap Crossface! URKO tried to fight it but tapped out after just a few seconds. PD had an impressive victory and made a statement to his challenger heading into Call to Greatness.
Winner: Psycho Dude 99
Match 5, Hardcore Match for the Hardcore Title: Siberian Wolverine© vs Straight Edge Punk
In a match building up for several weeks, finally Punk got his title opportunity against Wolverine. And to top it off, it was under Hardcore Rules. The match started off with the 2 locking up. Due to a strength advantage it looked like Wolverine was going to overpower Punk, but Punk escaped the lock up and took Wolverine down with a swift kick to the skull. Wolverine fell to the mat as fans cheered Punk on. A few seconds later Wolverine sat up on the mat, and Punk took him back down with a running knee to the skull. He went for a pin but Wolverine kicked out at 2. Punk then began to exit the ring to apparently look for weapons. But as he had 1 foot between the ropes, Wolverine rushed up and hit Punk with a belly to belly slam. Wolverine rushed over for a pin of his own but Punk also kicked out. Punk then began to slowly get up and as he did Wolverine disrespectfully kicked Punk’s body all over in the process. But when Punk finally reached his feet, Wolverine swung for a clothesline but Punk managed to hit a kick to his knee before it connected. This bought Punk time to hit several more kicks to Wolverine’s body which caused him to back up in the corner, allowing Punk to hit a running knee onto Wolverine followed by a bulldog. Punk then rushe
