I wresltled throu out high school my Dad was a runner up for the 88 olympic team. I am now in ProWrestling. I am with QCW. Granted most companies are fake. We are real though. And if you know a way to fake a fall off of a 15 foot ladder onto cement please tell me. I could really use that information. I am still in high school so if you say I suck I am a senior at Minico High in Idaho and incase you dont knw WE ARE STATE CHAMPS!

I understand the difference, as do most of the people here, I assume. If Yahoo gives us a Professional Wrestling category under Entertainment, I'm sure all of us will be happy to move there. Until then, this is the place to stay.



Meanwhile, I feel the same way with Volleyball and Beach Volleyball. I was appalled when I saw the majority answered 21 to the question "How many points to win a volleyball game?"

People are so naive about professional wrestling. Sure all the storylines are fixed and so are the match endings. But all the moves that amateur wrestlers use are translated into professional wrestling. Its entertainment, but it is still wrestling and its still classed as a sport, just one focusing on entertainment rather than competitivness. And loads of amateur wrestlers have gone on to do really well in professional wrestling enviroments and still kept amateur style moves, while adding in some pro wrestling orientated moves. Notable examples are Brock Lesner, Shelton Benjamin and of course the great Kurt Angle.

When you say real wrestling you better mean high school and college wrestling not that **** on TNT. I dont understand why people watch the crap when they know it fake. The only reason its still on the air is because the homos that watch it like seeing giant jucied guys touching and humping each other. I think Ultimate Fighter is pretty good since its a combination of wrestling and boxing and karate and bunch of other things. Plus the guys get really hurt and its not all pussy

There's two different Kinds of wrestling: Amateur (real) and Professional (fake).



Amateur wrestling is the what you have in High School, College and the Olympics. Some "professional" wrestlers have been big names in Amateur wrestling (Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle). Amateur wrestling is a SPORT!



Professional wrestling is Sports-ENTERTAINMENT!!!! And they ADMIT to it:



"The most electrifying man in SPORTS-ENTERTAINMENT!", "World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT" They ADMIT to the fact that it's not real. While on occasion there are legitimate injuries/concerns (Triple H's quad, Austin's neck, RVD's ACL), most of the action is staged.
