The Crippler Crossface should be number one. Properly applied, the opponent cannot escape, and risks serious injury to his neck.

The Figure Four should be number two. Anybody who ever saw Flair in his prime base an entire match around weakening his opponent's leg and trapping him in that hold should understand. With the right opponent (meaning one who could sell the whole ordeal), the drama was INTENSE.

The Tarantula was not a submission hold. It was an illegal hold by Tajiri involving the ropes with the intention of weakening his opponent. He could only hold it for the ref's 4 count.

The Mandible Claw was not a submission hold, either. Or rather, it shouldn't have been. It is illegal to stick your fingers in your opponent's eyes, ears, and mouth, and each time it happens the ref warns and counts. Yet Foley was able to stick his fingers in his opponent's mouth and get a submission win. Wrong.

In place of The Tarantula and The Mandible Claw should be The Indian Deathlock and The Fujiwara Armbar.

The Ankle Lock is rather over-sold and shouldn't have been rated higher than the Texas Cloverleaf, which involves the opponent's legs and back, much like The Sharpshooter.

Otherwise, the list is fine.

Rick Martel's Boston Crab should be in this list and it isn't. Martel in his prime could get a "ham n' egger" to submit to his finishing hold. The Warlord's Full Nelson should not be ranked so high as number ten.

The tarantula and the mandilble claw should not be included in this list, as both were not technically considered submission holds. The Million Dollar Dream was a sleeper hold, not a submission hold. It was there to put opponents to sleep, to make them unconscious, so the referee could check the opponent's arm three times and if the opponent's arm falls down the third time then the match is over. If this move counts as a submission hold then Brutus Beefcake's sleeper hold and Rowdy Roddy Piper's sleeper hold should also be included in this list.

The figure-four leglock was the most effective submission move in WWF history and used by wrestlers such as Ric Flair, Greg Valentine, and Ronnie Garvin to force a submission. Given the number of wrestlers who have applied this hold in the past and succeeded in getting a submission from an opponent then this move should be ranked number one. Bret's Sharpshooter should not receive a number one ranking but it should be ranked in the top five. It was a very devastating finisher.

First of all some of the moves on that list is the same thing under a different name....as is the case of the Sleeper and Tazmission. And no the Sharp Shooter should not be number 1.

I would reclassify the list into divisions if you will and state the best wrestler to use said move as such:

1. Choke move i.e. the Sleep division

2. Joint Lock i.e. leg submission

3. ARMBAR

4. Stretch moves i.e. back submissions

and the best moves ever by a wrestler are:

1. Best Choke move is the Rear Naked Choke by Samoa Joe....

2. Best Joint Lock of the leg submission is the Figure Four by Ric Flair WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

3. Best ARMBAR is the 5 minutes of greatness by Ricky Steamboat....ok ok its just a weardown move but you have to admit he is the best ever.....the real best Armbar belongs to Fujiwara.

4. Best Stretch move is a tie between Jazz and Jericho but since it is basically the same move working over the back stretching the legs putting pressure on the back and all leg joints all the way to the hips. If done right and done with hatred I've seen Jazz pull the legs back soooo far that she was literally smacking her opponent in the head with her own foot......When Jericho does his stretch he would be mean and step on the opponent's neck while pulling back the knee bar.

IMO the Real #1 Submission is The Crossface. Too bad they didn't add it.
