I was recently at a Dual Meet with my team and one of our guys got a point because the other guy put in a full nelson, why is this bad? ive seen it before, this is my first year wrestling so im not really up to date.

They illegalised it, because of the huge chance of injuring your neck. There is an incredible amount of leverage going to the neck. I personally don't think it's that bad, as I can control my nelson, but some people are stupid, and will go for the break or not know when to relent.
