Randy Orton -- a good heel who could be a better heel if he would tone down the "cold-blooded killer" gimmick and completely drop that "Legend Killer" gimmick (that gimmick is based on beating up 60-year-old men). He needs a little humor in his gimmick. He's TOO serious. All of the best heels were funny once in a while.
John Cena -- unjustly hated. He has no control over whether or not (or for now long) he holds a title. He is NOT Bret Hart; he's a brawler, people need to understand that and get off the "he only no five moove" kick. Very entertaining on the mic.
Triple H -- a great heel, but squashes too many people in the ring. Still puts on very good matches.
Shawn Michaels -- my favorite WWE wrestler. Still the best in-ring performer in the WWE; Shawn always gives us great matches. Perhaps the best ever at blending "old school" wrestling with modern "sports entertainment".
Chris Jericho -- an old favorite who's finally back in top shape. He's ready to hang with Orton and Triple H in the main-events now.
Edge -- I was a fan long ago but I'm very disappointed in his performances the past couple of years, especially in the Edge-Vicky storyline. I think his best days are behind him.
Jeff Hardy -- fun to watch but I don't think he's World Title caliber. He's improved his mat wrestling recently, but still relies too much on death-defying stunts.
Undertaker -- THE best gimmick in wrestling history. Amazingly quick and agile for such a huge man, and unlike most guys his size, he can actually wrestle very well. His matches are always enjoyable.
CM Punk -- this guy is good, real good. He gets into the right feud (maybe with Edge?) and wins a World Title, he could be one of the biggest WWE stars for the next several years. He "carried" ECW; I think he could "carry" Smackdown.
Melina -- she surprised me with her in-ring performances; this girl can wrestle and that's what matters most. I enjoy watching her in the ring.
Torrie -- she never belonged in the ring. She was taught to do a few moves, but she is not a wrestler.
Mickie James -- very athletic and a good wrestler. I would love to see her and Melina feud over the Women's title. There could be some good matches in this feud.
Santino -- very funny, but if he doesn't get in the ring and start showing that he can wrestle, he'll never be anything more than he is right now -- mid-card comedy relief.
Hornswoggle -- I find the little guy funny, but teaming him with and giving him top billing over Finlay is hurting Finlay's credibility.
Batista -- I don't care about "off the job" stuff, that's his business not mine; what matters to me is what happens in the ring. I don't really care for the huge brawlers but Batista is pretty good at it. He's not my favorite but his matches are usually pretty good.
JBL -- I've never liked "JBL", a pompous overblown blowhard. "Bradshaw" of the APA was MUCH better. A funny guy in a funny team who beat people up. That was great.
Snitsky -- he was much better as the shoe-sniffing "it's not my fault" guy. I've never liked gimmicks that were disgusting just to be disgusting and for no other reason.
Umaga -- I love this guy. The most entertaining "monster" in the business. The character is so over-the-top you can't help but enjoy his performances. Absolutely fun to watch.
Hulk Hogan -- I survived "Hulkamania" of the 80's where Hogan was shoved down our throats constantly everywhere you looked. Absolutely got sick of seeing him. Never was a big Hogan fan and still aren't.
Ric Flair -- the second greatest heel in wrestling history (Freddie Blassie is THE greatest heel). A living legend, an absolute icon in the wrestling business. I've been watching the Nature Boy for about 30 years. When he retired, "old school" retired with him. The greatest pro wrestler of all time.
Mick Foley -- with the exception of Terry Funk, Foley was the only "blood-thirsty hardcore maniac" who was loveable. Funk and Foley made hardcore cool. Mick also did some of the best, funniest promos of all time. His rivalry with The Rock was one of the best I've ever seen.
