Question:
Who is actually in favor of WWE being PG rated?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "This guy must be crazy. When WWE is PG, we don't see blood, puppies or hear any swearing AT ALL!"
Is this stuff actually necessary for a good wrestling show? No. Before the Attitude Era, WWE made it on their own quite well without this stuff.
And another point. In the WWE being PG rated, we don't hear any C R A P about the bosses grapefruits, or innuendos that make you cringe.
And for people who think I'm wrong,...you need to open your eyes. Who needs blood and boobies on a wrestling show when you can have good promos and good wrestling matches like the old days?

I agree, with WWE being PG, they have to rely on the actual wrestling matches to keep REAL FANS. I like to turn on WWE programming and see actual matches, period.

You have wasted 5 points to get abuse here, Attitude marks honestly believe it was the greatest wrestling the world has ever seen... not the overrated brawling gimmick matches and talking it really was.

I actually don't care what the rating is as long as i am getting entertaining wrestling and right now i have just that. PG isn't kiddy for me, listen to a Jericho promo from recent weeks and tell me anyone under 10 understands half the words he uses, Blood has a place in wrestling but not as often as people think, it adds to the drama of some matches but every match just lessens the impact. Swearing doesn't make anything more mature other than the rating it needs, i can make the most mature point ever if i swear during it i don't sound as mature as someone that makes the exact same point without swearing. Bimbos in bikinis rolling around are not watch wrestling is about, i want female wrestlers not porn rejects that want to be on TV. I am happy with the current Program direction, its not perfect but it is going the right way to being very entertaining and if it drives a few people that don't understand what wrestling has been about for decades away i am even happier.

I get what you are saying completely but hear me out...

(Not going to "Abuse" you like others have said)

I know how the WWE was before the attitude era, believe me, I have been a fan my entire life. Back then, things were different, times were different. Especially in the 80s and early 90s when you had slogans "Just say no!" and "That was tubular!" The attitude era changed a lot of things just as in the 90s a lot of things changed. Children of the 80s are not the same as children in this day of age. You have little seven year olds cursing and 15 year olds dressing like 30 year olds. Going back to being a "family oriented show" will be very hard for Vince to do because of how times have changed. I'm not against WWE going PG but they have failed to realize how to... let me say, "upgrade" itself to this generation's standards.

Thats why it seems as though the WWE has turned into a joke with some of the stuff that they do.

Go PG, no problem! But being corny... yea, thats the problem.

I just dont like the corny stuff. But since I am into the wrestling anyway, that is what keeps me around. I only complain about the boring/stupid story lines they've been having recently.

I have two small kids who watch with me. I'm all for the PG Rating, I'm 28 years old and when I kid, it was about Hulk Hogan, Koko, and Ultimate Warrior. Then I grew up with the Attitude Era which was great because I was 16 - 20. Now I have kids and it's back to PG. maybe in 10 years, it'll be back.

I'm all in favor of the PG rating. I don't WANT to see lingerie pillow fights. I don't want to see bikini dances. I just don't. I prefer to see the women WRESTLE.

I'm all good not having blood and gore EVERY week because then when they DO have those matches, it makes it more special. It's not the same thing every week. Plus, they get to expand their career longevity.

So yes, I am in favor of the PG rating, but at the same time they shouldn't take it overboard. Hornswaggle is a clear example of overdoing it.

I agree.. interior the age of internet porn, i could somewhat see Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool in a wrestling tournament than in a Bra and Panties tournament. Miz and Morrison continually delivered the laughs, in basic terms as many as part and Christian of their day. No Wrestlers do no longer could bleed to be reliable. seem at Benoit and attitude, that they had lots of classic suits that did no longer contain blood. part and Hardy Ladder tournament became epic without blood and CM Punk cashing in became icing on the cake

I think the only person, man, woman, or thing in favor of the PG rating is the WWE so the teens and adult fans get stiffed into watching the Disney version of the WWE.

Not me!

They have changed the Name of the PPV one night stand, because it sounds like a Sex talk!

Cena has to change his moves FU, and STFu to some other pansy names, those 4 year olds can just STFU!!!

No swearing anymore, no blood, it just sucks!
