What are your thoughts & memories of former WWE Superstar Rick 'The Model' Martel?

I want to know what your best memories & thoughts are in regards to The Model Rick Martel

One of the greatest pro wrestlers Canada has ever produced. Multi-time WWE tag team champ (at least twice with Tony Garea and Tito Santana) and one time AWA champion. He was terrific as a babyface but I never thought he would have been able to sell The Model like he did (judging from your question, I suspect you probably remember Rick as the Model more than anything else he did in his career). The Model was deserving of at least an Intercontinental title run and maybe even a main event run - he would have made an interesting foil for Hogan. His 1998 run in WCW was far too short. When fans talk about exclusions from the WWE Hall of Fame, one of my choices for the "why aren't they in" would be Rick Martel.
