Well, the only times I find WWE predictable is in matches with Orton and Cena at valuable PPV's like e.g. Wrestlemania, because I know they're not going to let their top mainstays lose infront of their fans at big stages. Other than that I feel that WWE is still unpredictable, as long as I avoid all these spoilers. It's hard, but I'm trying to avoid spoilers to the best of my ability, but it's difficult when some users even post the spoilers in the title of their questions....
If we look away from the most predictable wrestlers like The Undertaker, Orton and Cena, I think WWE still possesses the unpredictability it provides. Let's take recent WWE shows for instance. The match last week at RAW between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan was pretty unpredictable, wasn't it? I actually thought Sheamus was gonna lose for a second, and draft himself to Smackdown, but he won. He won and became the new U.S Champion, which I would've never thought of.
If we go even further back, I think we atleast have ONE or more unpredictable momentums in each episode of RAW and Smackdown. E.g. I'd never thought The Miz would beat Cena for 3 consecutive weeks, or the fact that Albert Del Rio won the Royal Rumble. You get my point? As long as I manage to avoid spoilers, I think WWE is still pretty unpredictable to some extent. Although I can tell a few outcomes by myself, because it's almost TOO obvious, I still think it's unpredictable.
Cheers!
Woah, almost missed the BQ :P
BQ2: To some extent, yes. I'd say it's 65/35 in the unpredictability's favor. I'm trying to avoid predicting the outcome of the matches and instead enjoy it for what it is. There are lots of momentums I would've never guessed, but at the same time some of it is very predictable.
As for right now I actually think Randy Orton is more predictable than John Cena. After all the speculations about John Cena being "Superman", they've let The Miz beat him 3 weeks in a row, while Randy Orton on the other hand is delivering 3-5 RKO's every week and wins every single of his matches.
Hope this helped.
