I mean this is Yahoo Answers, not Batman, what difference does a group make? Trying to be the "overlords" of the WS.I do not see a point in these groups they just seem a sad way to look higher than everyone else.I mean some groups even have people like EC, Demon and Cliff so could someone explain to me the point of these groups please?

Okay, I definitely agree with your main statement, basically saying that the great users won't join these groups.

Let me start off by saying: Which user knows of every single other users great answers and/or questions?

Nobody. When they formed the Y!A7, based on the Nexus group, they formed the supposed best 7 users who aren't on the top 10.

If there was a leaderboard for each section, we'd know that 11-17 would be the real Y!A 7, (coincidentally, Y!A7 is the name for the Australian Y!A).

I thought, at first, Y!A7 was a group for Aussie members, so I added it to my name. It's good to let people know I'm from Australia, some nutter thought I was from Denmark (WTF?). I found out it was a group for the best users, I removed it from my name. It creates childish questions such as "Why do people have Y!A7 when some members aren't best/better" or "What's the point of Y!A7?"

It also creates assumptions and suspicion. "Is it just me or do Y!A7 questions often have Y!A7 members getting best answers?"

Then, somebody formed "yWa", "nWo" and more recently, X9. They flood the section with pointless "A spot opened up!!" or "Recruitment for the new Y!A group, *_____*"

Another point, great users are not necessarily TC's. Clown Prince of Crime didn't have a TC badge on his first account but he had over 16,000 points and was known unanimously around the WS. He was still "one of the best". Many great users don't have TC's. Actually, a lot of them do, although a lot of users who ask/answer amazingly will not get BA due to: Questions going to Vote, Friendships between asker/answerer, Trolls, Haters reporting.

As a side note, I do think that the WS Royal Rumble questions can be an exciting format. It could keep certain users coming back, checking if the next round is up, be in it or not.

A TC badge stands for Top Contributor, but it doesn't mean Top Contributor, it means you frequently visit that section.

If I were to be on Level 1, and I answered 30 questions I'd be on level 2, in a day and a bit. If I then answered, I think it's 50, per day until level 3, I'd probably be a TC.

However, were my answers detailed? Were they thorough and informative? Were they really worthy of BA? No, 50 questions answered per day for about 1 week? Who would be bothered to answer with a hefty answer, (such as this question), 50 times?

The WS should have questions such as "Why is *wrestler* better than *wrestler*?" or, "*Wrestler* or *Wrestler*? Why?" and questions relating to recent activity in the WWE, TNA or anything else wrestling related, be it Thumb Wrestling, Arm Wrestling, Mud Wrestling, it goes in this section.

I think the groups are just a way for certain users to have "control" over others. If they want a user out, and they decline, that user is blocked and they might post "Message to *group*!" saying "report *blah blah* he won't quit our group". That is control over every single member who reports the evictee. Also, it may give them "pull" when they answer the members questions.

It is essentially Y!A WS Backstage Politics.

Hmm? You proof of backstage politics?

Sorry if I sound rude, but I'm making a point.

"Well, my (yWa) brother..."

That there gave that user Best Answer. I would've given it to E&C whether I agree'd with him or not.

A yWa member asked, and a yWa member answered. A TC, obviously a higher rank in the group (or maybe even leader).

With these groups, especially if they self percieve themselves as better than others, it really seems arrogant. I know some users are great, and I know some are better than others. I admit it, but I would lose respect if a user that good, when others know they're good, and the user themself know they are good, say something like "Join this group! Good users only!!" and they are already in there.

I saw a Level 2 in a "Best User" group, how much of an Ego can you have? Level 2 and you think you're better than frequent visitors, hefty answerers or even those who ask many questions to keep the section busy? They could barely ask 10 questions, and that would cost them 100 points, which could potentially be nearly *half* of their points.

WQ: even nevertheless I reported that's going to be somebody youthful who desires the "rub" alongside with Sheamus, i think John Cena could desire to be the guy to stand Undertaker and challenge the streak. enable's settle for it, Undertaker is coming on the tip of his profession and that's uncommon that he places his streak against the present face of the WWE, which at present is John Cena. this could be a great draw by way of fact the popularity of the two one in all them. They have not confronted off considering the fact that early - mid 2000 and that's time that we see it returned. the two have replaced in the process the years and those moments do no longer are available many situations. while it includes Wrestlemania, anybody supplies it their all and that i comprehend those 2 are able to arising an on the spot classic. Will every physique be able to maintain on with Shawn Michaels after the final 2 showdowns? no longer likely. It wasn't in particular the wrestling, however the story being instructed and the emotion displayed. the only 2 that i will see able to experience it or a minimum of compete with Shawn is the two John Cena and Triple H. the two are able to putting on that classic experience with Undertaker, if given the point and time. i think that the two components and can furnish Shawn a run for his funds, so that's going to likely be exciting to make certain.

Well I am part of the X9 and I was the member who got the last spot. I don't know what is going on because there are a lot of groups now and I think other users are going to start their own groups.

I agree with you...honestly, I don't think it's an age thing...I think it's natural human instinct to want to belong to something, even though if I were to go on the street and tell some random person, "I'm a member of the Yahoo! Answers YWWE Straight Edge Society Mafia X7," they'd probably run away thinking I'm insane.
