How Would You Make The Tag Division Mean Something Again?

I think most would agree that the WWE has abandoned the tag division as an important area of business, and since the era of Edge and Christian, The Hardys and the Dudleys, the WWE tag scene has floundered.

So I'm just wondering how you guys would go about repairing the damage that the division has received since being put on the back burner?

First, they should combine both of the Tag Team Titles into just one and they should just be called The Undisputed Tag Team Championships. There's really no need for each person to carry around two titles each...



The Tag Team Division could be made great again if they just got some great tag teams going again. It looks like they are trying to slowly repair the Tag Team Division by making Chris Jericho and Edge the Tag Team Champions and introducing teams like The Hart Dynasty and Legacy.



But they need more teams in order for there to be good competition in the Tag Team Division.



The Hardy's should reuntite since Jeff doesn't really belong in the main event and Matt isn't getting anywhere as a heel. The Hardy's were one of the greatest Tag Teams of all time and simply having them reunite would improve the Tag Team Division greatly.



The Brian Kendrick hasn't really been involved in a good storyline for a while and his career isn't really going anywhere. He and Paul London once held the Tag Team Titles for over a year. WWE should bring back Paul London and team the two up again.



Miz and Morrison were also a great tag team. I know Morrison's been getting a singles push lately, but I don't see him becoming a World Champion anytime soon. Morrison is better as part of a heel tag team. If they reformed MNM, it would be even better than teaming him back up with The Miz.



By reforming Tag Teams like these, people would be much more excited to watch Tag Team Matches and the titles would mean something again. WWE is at a shortage of good tag teams, especially face tag teams.They have good heel tag teams like Legacy, the Hart Dynasty, and Edge & Jericho, but they need more face tag teams to provide some competition.



I also think that all of the tag teams should be on one brand. Having them all on Smackdown would proabably be better because Raw is more focused on trying to have good main events.

Well the easiest answer is to say bring back teams like DX, Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian, Batista and Rey, Miz and Morrison. But these won't happen, not right now anyway. Those are some of the best tag teams in recent years and they can bring back the tag division and make it good again, but won't happen. WWE just needs to form new tag teams and do something with the tag titles. Like they have to be defended each week or something. WWE just needs to bring more excitement to this division. Have a few stipulation matches like ladder matches. It's fair to say the tag division will never be as good as it once was.

Well, I actually thought when they had Miz & Morrison and The Colons feuding that they were headed in the right direction towards restoring something into the tag team division.



They have wrestlers like Jamie Noble and Charlie Haas who aren't doing much, why not make them a tag team, both are great wrestlers..make them a permanent tag team.



I don't like that they broke up The Colons already. The reason they weren't getting anywhere is because they had no competition. The second they had some competition they lose the belts to Edge and Jericho.



So I would say keep the Colons together, have Noble and Haas as a tag team..I think both are talented enough to be in one together.



Evan Bourne, though gaining lots of popularity because of his style, I don't think he'll get far as a singles wrestler in the WWE because of his size. Outside of Rey Mysterio not many have made it far in the singles division in the WWE.



So I say also make a tag team of Brian Kendrick and Evan Bourne..a high flying duo.



They have The Hart Dynasty in Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith...so that's a good starting point.



I say make Finlay and Regal a hard hitting foreign tag team. They could be stiff and Regal can come in and mix in his wrestling skill.



Right there that's 5 tag teams, The Colons, Haas and Noble, Finlay and Regal, Kendrick and Bourne and The Hart Dynasty. You throw in Legacy, Rhodes and Dibiase and Cryme Tyme and I think you have a decent tag team division. Of course they should give the tag teams names also.





If they don't want to do that, bring in some of the lighter wrestlers..some cruiserweights..sort of like Kendrick and Bourne. Make the tag team division a high flying division. If the casual fans aren't interested in tag team wrestling, maybe having tag teams with high flyers would gain the casual fan's attention. It would be something different and would bring some attention and excitement to the division. WWE doesn't utilize the lighter wrestlers anyway, so why not put the few they have now in tag teams, and bring a few more in. It would make the WWE tag division the most interesting it's been in many years.

The tag team division is going to mean something again. Edge is going to be a face when he returns and can re-unite with Christian. Plus, with Jericho and the "partner", the division is getting better.

1) dont split up great tags because of the draft possibly next year wwe shoould make tag teams available to draft like say raw picks....... (instead of just 1 person) raw drafts...............CRYME TYME!!!!!!!!!! :O



2) make them even like dont make tags win all the itme and teams lose all the time like miz and morrison won 95% of their matches and hawkins and ryder lost 95% of their matches



3) bring back hawkins and ryder they were a quality tag team
