What are your thoughts on TNA Impact moving to 8-10:00PM on Monday Nights permanently?

Spike TV just sent out the following:

Beginning Monday, April 12, "TNA iMPACT!" on SPIKE TV will have a new weekly timeslot on Monday nights and a new weekly encore presentation on Thursdays.

New Episodes:
Mondays: 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT

Encore Presentations:
Thursdays: 9:00-11:00pm ET/PT

Smart move.



I never thought TNA was prepared to face Raw in the beginning. They're up against a much bigger company with a wider fanbase, more history, and more marketability. Rushing against the flagship brand of the biggest wrestling promotion in the world is not what TNA needs. TNA needs to slowly move up, and having the new timeslot was a wise decision because there are many fans who wait until 9:00 PM for Raw. Having those fans spare some time to watch TNA and slowly gain their interest is what TNA needs. It's a good way of getting more fans to watch TNA.

That's great and just like I did this past Monday night, F*CK THE WWE! I'll still be watchin' TNA iMPACT on Monday nights regardless of the time change because WWE ain't got nothin' on TNA Wrestling!

I think it would've been smarter not to even try to compete with WWE. Why all of a sudden did they decide to take on RAW? Their show was very successful on Thursdays me and my brother used to watch it every Thursday or Saturday, but when they tried to compete with RAW I had to side with WWE. But this little 1 hour early thing going on, I think its best to try doing it at 7:00 rather than 8:00.

I dont know who watches WWE and TNA. A Regular show on TNA (before wrestle mania) was better. But Tna moved so they can steel fans from WWE. But that will never happen. WWE has 4 shows.

I think that a smart move. They saw that it would hurting them going against wwe from 9-11 so they push back a little bit and still can compete against wwe. We'll have to see what happens
