Question:
Am I the only CM Punk fan who is supporting Lesnar?
2013-07-26 06:48:18 UTC
As my profile suggests, I am a huge CM Punk fan. If I mark out for anyone then its gotta be Punk. But I seem to be favouring Brock Lesnar over CM Punk in this particular fued. Maybe because it's almost impossible for me not to support Paul Heyman. Storyline wise, I think it was Punk's fault that turned Heyman against him. Also, me being someone who most of the time support the heels, I would be rooting for Lesnar at Summerslam. Any other Punk fan who thinks the same way?
PS : All the Cena fans who whine & ***** that Punk fans do not support anyone else, do remember me before saying that again.

So, you want lesnar to win being a lesnar fan i know what he can do and there is no doubt that he got better ring experince than punk. .It would look so unrealistic if punk beat brock if wwe want everyone to know that wwe is scripted than they can choose the winner punk..

Nomatter what happen I will always be at brock's corner

I'm a Damien Sandow fan but I also like CM Punk so I'm supporting CM Punk.I hate Brock Lesnar(his matches have been horrible since his return and his mic skills are worse than Ryback's) and Paul Heyman betrayed CM Punk...Punk still considered Paul Heyman as his best friend and when Del Rio punched Heyman at Smackdown did you see the change of expression on Punk's face? CM Punk wanted a little space,he didn't want Paul Heyman to accompany him during his matches...But that Walrus betrayed Punk.

lol @ the vipers answer he said he loves orton now if we compare lesnar with orton lesnar is far stronger faster and better at fighting than orton now in terms of wrestling lesnar would still crush the vipers skull because lesnar has awesome wresling skills he always was one of the best wreslers alog side kurt angle and Daniel bryan now this whole feud with lesnar and punk is not good I am a huge lesnar fan probably the biggest fan ever I even have lesnars chest tattoo of the sword and the same back tattoo on my back that's how much I love the guy and look up to him now this whole feud between two paul heyman guys is not a good idea I mean hulk vs wolverine?? cmon we want brock to takeon guys like ryback mark henry maybe feud with the shield or something like that its nt a good feud

You're not alone! I'm a huge CM Punk fan too but I find myself wanting Brock Lesnar to win at SummerSlam too. It should be noted that I've always been a big Brock Lesnar fan, as well and I've just been waiting for the day that CM Punk and Brock Lesnar would cross paths. I just thought the juxtaposition was too good; the way Heyman would deal with Punk.. trying to calmly reign him in and then with Brock he'd be losing control it was only a matter of time before he would have to play mediator or pick a side. I figured he would pick Brock Lesnar because Paul Heyman's just too good as a heel.

I disagree with you on this being Punk's fault storyline wise, I do think it's more Paul Heyman's fault. By design Paul Heyman is made out to look like the bad guy but in the given situation I do believe it's so good because Paul has some room to stand on; there is some blame that can be thrown Punk's way. But overall, I look at it as Heyman's fault. Punk suffered three devastating losses in a row one to The Rock, one to John Cena for the #1 contendership (first time Cena has actually beat Punk too) and one to The Undertaker. Initially before Paul Bearer died, Punk's goal was just to take away The Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak from the fans because his WWE Championship reign was taking away from him. After not being able to get the job done, Punk walked out to have a break.

It was Paul Heyman that dragged him back at Payback because Chris Jericho coaxed him into it; just like how Stephanie McMahon and Triple H coaxed Paul Heyman into agreeing that Brock Lesnar would face Triple H at SummerSlam last year. CM Punk never asked for the match with Jericho, and really didn't even have to show up at Payback and face Jericho and it would have all been on Paul Heyman. Heyman almost cost Punk the match at Payback, and Punk simply requested some space, from Heyman. Looking at it like that from a storyline perspective (a.k.a. nerdy wrestling fan analysis) I think the blame goes on Paul Heyman for doing what's best for Paul Heyman not what's best for CM Punk and then just being a vindictive, worm; we all know and love Paul Heyman to be.

However, the main reason why I want Brock Lesnar to win at SummerSlam is, because I've just been loving the CM Punk / Paul Heyman banter. I can't get enough of it; as much as I loved them together, I have to say the promos we've seen over the last two weeks have been amazing. And I just get excited thinking about all the things they could do in the next couple of weeks. Leading to SummerSlam. I don't want to see this end on one match. In addition to that, Brock Lesnar since returning to WWE has had a horrible track record. I still can't fully wrap my head around why Brock lost his return match to John Cena, and his loss at Wrestlemania to Triple H. He's only had four matches since returning to WWE and he's lost half of them, so I would like to see Brock pick up the win against Punk now to solidify Brock more as a monster; WWE does a great job billing Brock as a beast, but when it comes down to it, in a high pressure situation he's usually lost the match.

CM Punk is going to beat the crap out of Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

I am a huge Punk fan myself, and I will support Punk at SummerSlam, and I think we shouldn't think of who we should support because of being heels or faces we should support the performance and not the personalities given by the script.

easily, this is a revival of the "team Lesnar" good from 2003 (Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, enormous educate, A-prepare aka Tensai, Matt Morgan and Nathan Jones), minus Morgan and Jones. Tensai and enormous educate will (ought to) rejoin Heyman, Punk will take the area as chief and Lesnar will be more desirable than chuffed to be the a$$ kicking gadget. they basically want one extra heel to hitch them.

everyone has got their own decisions and no one can take away the power to do that thats why punk made his decision but he never thought paul heyman the guy he thought was his best friend turned on him and attacked but there was no reason for brock to attack him so i am supporting punk and hope he takes all his frustration over brock
